National Novel Pantsing Month

Three weeks to go and already I'm hyperventalating.

Okay, maybe only a little. But I was so cocky in August when I decided I was going to do NaNoWriMo this year and I was already working on my plan and now it's almost here and....argh!!!

So much to do between now and then, and one of them is a spectaular book trailer for Strange Men... We may remove the word spectacular once it's done. In fact, we will definitely remove the tag once it's done. I think my boys should dress up in their wedding suits and allow me to draw chalk lines down the fabric and take photographs of them in ridiculous poses. Okay, back to my box of old photographs so that I can abuse long-dead relatives instead.

I am very excited to participate in NaNo this year and as a bonus, my boys ages 13 and 11 are going to participate too! I am so excited!

God, sometimes I think it's cocky just to think I'll even write a book, let alone in a month. I still don't know if I can manage Nano this time around--I want to desperately, but there are all these other books sitting around waiting for edits... is it responsible?

Am I?!

Oh! Can't wait for the trailer. That should be pretty cool. :-)

I can;'t deal with Nano this year (or most years). :-P

Soon, it will be time for my yearly cheer leading duties. Yay!

The trailer sounds fun!

I'm still not sure which project I'm going to work on during NaNo. One minute I'm positive it's project A, the next I'm completely certain it's project B. The only thing I can be sure of is that it'll probably end up being project Z, which I haven't even thought of yet.

Wow. You're panicking and I'm not. Someone needs to check to see if the Earth is spinning in the right direction.

Excellent, Sarah.

Though I want to urge you otherwise, be responsible, Katey.

Erm, I doubt it, Anthony.

Wave those pom poms, Aaron.

Kate, I hope there'll be no Z's in mine.

Andrea, I checked and it is.

I'm all signed up and ready to go. I still haven't edited the book I wrote last NaNo, but what the hell, it's something to edit later on.

That's how I'm looking at it, Danielle.

Man, it takes me a year to write a novel! I'm wishing you luck, and I'll wave from the sidelines. Keep us updated! I'd love to see how it turns out!

I'm getting stoked about NaNoWriMo this year. I got my outline done, and have even mocked up a book cover for the 'about novel' page.

I can't wait for November 1st!

Can't wait for the trailer!

I wish I could do Nano, but whenever I try to write quickly or give myself a timetable, I end up with gibberish! I might try this next year if only to teach myself to stick with a schedule.

Good luck to you and all participants!

Thanks, Craig

Me too, India (and biting my nails)

I'm sure I'll have gibberish too, Bobbie.
