What am I talking about?
Well, I don't normally pre-write blog posts, but I had a gem of an idea for one (okay gemish, it's not really that sparkly) so I started composing it...in blogger. At first, I dated it next Monday, but then realised I'd probably forget I'd done that and some half-assed post would appear when I was away from my desk. So, I scheduled it to go live in 2019 instead. And it let me. Go Blogger.
Maybe I'll copy my short stories into blogger and have them go live in 3010, or then again, maybe I won't.

Sort of like time travel for blog posts. Excellent idea!
Like a virtual time capsule, huh?
I usually don't save posts unless I have to or during Nano. But still an interesting idea.
I love blogger : )
I think so. We will have our five minutes of fame a thousand years from now, I guarantee it, Barry. *And if not, I'll give you everything I own, email me in 3010.
Andrea, let's do it and dare FutureGoogle to delete us.
Me too, Nat.
Kind of like a digital equivalent to stuffing a story in a bottle and throwing it in the ocean. Although, it might be more apt if you say you're stuffing your story in a hand grenade--on account of the time release and all. :)
Ha, nice. It'd be weird for anyone who survives you to see these live posts popping up on the net. :-p
Gef, what an awesome idea. We should all write stories, pop them into bottles and send them out across the ocean. Though I might just sneak up to Neil Gaiman's private beach or garden and place my bottle there. Shush, don't tell.
Anthony, it would be insanely creepy.
There's a Charlie Kaufman-esque story in there somewhere...you can have a blog discussion with yourself transversing a century.
I suspect one of my interchangeable heads intended to do that without bloggers help. :D
That sounds a lot easier than what I would like to do and haunt websites until they post what I want.
Woo Hoo. Nothing like a bit of long term planning.
I'm on this. Do you think it counts if we repeat blog entries every fifty years or so?
Jamie, one day we'll all be trapped in here.
Ha, Alan.
It can't harm, Aaron.
Hahaha-- it's INTERNET MAGIC! (Yeah, capslock was absolutely necessary there.)
Cool! I didn't realize you could schedule posts for more than a few days in advance. Hmmm.
I can see a whole event turning on "Cate's Last Story" in 3010. They'd probably televise it, or whatever they do in 3010.
Ha, Katey. :D
Kate, they'll broadcast it on the moon.
Both brilliant and disturbing!
