It may be Wednesday but there's no WIP post from me today, I'm too hyper to string more than eight words together. I've been a total pimp this week... And the worst sort, it's all me, me, hey have you heard about me. Thank you to everyone who's played along (or intends to play along) with my cheeky meme contest. Your support is much appreciated and I hope you all win. erm...
Anyhow, apologies for yet more pimpage (it ends here), but Strange Men in Pinstripe Suits just received its first review from Simon Marshall Jones over at Beyond Fiction and it is fanblinkingtastic. Many thanks to Simon, Mark Deniz and all the guys over at BF who've seriously made my week.
Eek! Late addition to the post...
Thank you to everyone who preordered a copy. I can't believe I left that part out.

I just popped back from the review. That was fantastic, Cate! Your head must be swollen to at least the size of a beach ball.
As beach balls are easily burst I guess that's the perfect analogy. Though it's more the size of Mars at the moment.
Wow - with a review like that I am even more excited about "Strange Men..."! Congrats, Cate! Stop being so modest. You know Miss Write would hate to see you underplaying your talent! ;)
I envy Miss Write's sparkly heels.
If it is that good I am really, really glad I pre-ordered yesterday. now I can't wait to get it in my grubby hands (but I will wash them before i open it up.)
That was a great review! And well-deserved...
Don't worry, Jamie. My book is quite fond of grubby hands.
Thanks, Josh. I'm sure the universe will balance things out and send me a head shrinking one soon. Until then, I'm trapped in my house. Send food.
Wow, great review!!! I may just preorder *another* copy. :-D
Maybe a copy for a left side of your brain and one for your right side and then they can compare notes.
Well deserved, Cate. Well deserved.
Fab review - but no less than you deserve :) Copy duly pre-ordered.
Hi everyone
Another newbie here. I've joined on the recommendation of a friend on here. Looks like there are lots of interesting threads.
I love gardening and messing about with the camera so you should see me joining in with those for starters.
Keep smiling, Dennis from Personal Loans website!
Thanks, Aaron.
Thanks, Jon.
I don't need to win. It's enough that I got an excuse to post a picture of Binetsu Danji!
What a review-- I couldn't wait to see this book in the first place, but now I'm impossibly excited. Eeeeee!!
Ha, but you're still entered Natalie :D
Thanks, Katey.
