I am a nightmare shopper. Absolute, utter nightmare. If you work in a store, you'd hate me. I pick something up, wander around the store with it for half an hour, decide I don't want it and then put it down anywhere. Well not quite anywhere... If I had a hat, I wouldn't put it on someone else's head unless that someone was a mannequin... Ahem.
The latest saga in the nightmareshopperme syndrome is to buy something and then decide, I don't like it/want it, which results in a conversation with my brother asking does he want it, which today resulted in said comment...
"Next time you go shopping, I'm coming with you and choosing what you buy so I know it'll be something I want when you decide you don't."
Ha! Cheek. :D
Ooh, and courtesy of said brother, I now have Adobe Photoshop so expect some weird/bad mashup pictures to appear here eventually or on the yet to be finished Strange Men website.

I'm the same; only my sister does not factor into the equation. Shopping online is a boon. : )
Online it's so much easier - I pop things into the shopping basket and then delete them. No mess. :D
Isn't that just the definition: "Woman"? :-)
Have fun photoshopping. Speaking of Strange Men...
Steven...run.
Aaron, I suspect I'll get no writing done this week now.
I've found that people rather enjoy having hats placed on their heads from strangers :D
Seriously, working in a bookstore, it's a part of our job to clean up after you messy types. I never see it as a bad thing, keeps me busy. As long as you don't pluck my cheek, try to rub my butt or try to have me pull something out of your pants pocket bc it's "stuck" your aces in my eyes. :D
Actually, books are the one things I don't place elsewhere in the store. :D
I can picture you shopping :) I am a little bit the same way. I'll carry items around for a half hour, but then I have to put them back where I found them. I can fill a cart and leave with a handful of stuff, because I talk myself out of purchases. I go through this whole list of questions...do you want it? do you need it? do you have to have it? can you live without it?....yeah, it's hard for things to pass the test.
I look forward to your pictures.
I do that too. Things just look so much better on the shelf than they do once I've carried them around for a while.
I usually rush in and buy and then repent later. Damn those stores who don't give refunds.
You're so good, Paula.
Kate, Danielle - seems we're all a little nightmarish. :D
I'm like the total opposite. I make lists. Rarely buy something that's not on the list. Actually, I'm likely to take something out of place and return it to the aisle where it belongs. Don't know why...
Hahaha your brother sounds awesome. As cheeky as mine, too!
Photoshop is a beautiful, beautiful thing. Can't wait to see what you come up with. It will eat your days, in a good way :D
I'm just as bad, only I usually just don't buy anything. Even after hours of browsing.
Ha. Oh, we brothers can be pesky, can't we. My sister and I have had a long standing agreement concerning birthday presents: If it's not edible, it's money.
Photoshop can be quite addictive. BEWARE!!!
Andrea, I love making lists - unfortunately, I always deviate from them.
Katey, I've decided I'm a mega-talented masherupper - I'm also possibly wrong.
Anthony, I can't do hours. Shops bore me.
Ha, Gef.
So I've discovered, Barry.
That's why I shop online, much more private!
