I am not a Cowardly Lion

About to type, 'Today I get my funk back' in twitter, I paused.

"Does funk mean what you are determined it means?" I asked myself.

Types 'Meaning of Funk' in Google. (How uncool am I?)

Definition of Funk:

a. A state of cowardly fright; a panic.
b. A state of severe depression.
2. A cowardly, fearful person.

Erm, nope didn't mean that at all.

Perhaps I meant, 'Today I get my mojo back'.

A Defintion of Mojo: Personal magnetism; charm.

Erm, okay...

Maybe I should just type, "Going to put my butt in my chair today and write, and boy that feeling fills me with joy.'

I think mojo works in this case.

Well yours is valid too. You're thinking of it in the "We need the funk, we've gotta have the funk!" Parliament way, right? Right! So hey, you've got the funk.

You can say you're feeling funky. Taken in context, it means a good thing : )

Hinny, I know. I'm confused now.

Aaron, but so much fun.

Jamie, I'm stealing it anyhow.

Katey, I thought so. Silly web definition thingy.

Natalie, I hope.

I agree with Jamie, I've seen mojo used the way you wanted to use it.

Funk is also slang for bad odor, as in old running shoes etc.

Mojo has a neat mystic feel - le mojo juste, I think! :)
