Here’s a WIP Wednesday post to make you vomit…
Lurking in the no-man’s land between finishing The Drawing of Dolls and beginning work on Horrifiques, I thought I’d list myself as this week’s WIP. And my inspiration, this blog post by Simon Bestwick. See, I’m definitely a work in progress. It’s just that I’m at turtle pace rather than racing along with the hares.
Ta-da!
Runs away and hopes that nobody noticed that I didn’t record having written anything.

I believe it is the summer doldrums that has gotten us this month (and last month, and possibly the month before that). :)
That was a really cool post you linked. He hit the nail on the head with the assured and individual voice/focus.
I think I had a dream last night that you sent me my prize and it was in Supernatural wrapping paper. Not sure, I just remember opening something from the mailbox and there was Jensen Ackles. I assume this means it was from you. Ha!
Jamie, I think we can get away with one more month of blaming it on the summer and then we're stuffed. :D
Katey, Oh no I sent the wrong prize. Please send him back.
No one's looking, Cate. You deserve a little rest.
Obviously you're a WIP. All those words come out of your head, so you have to work to get them in there first, right? And words are words, whether they're going in or coming out.
Aaron, I'm not certain about that. I've just been asked why my computer was already on and my laptop switched off.
KC, I always have and always will be a WIP. Sometimes a Hard Work IP
It worked! All I can think about it turtles!
YAY!
Plenty of days with no words recorded slip by lately. No worries, it all comes sooner or later.
If you're a WIP, then I must be a demolished building. ;-)
On Sunday's, I do a good impression of a 'crumbling relic'.
I thought it was just me. It seems there is a collective doldrum.
Support group, anyone?
