I Heart My Blog

Doesn't my blog look pretty? (This comment is wasted on my livejournal friends as it refers to my blogger blog).

I spent most of the weekend, when I should have been writing, tidying it up. I've taken away all the magazine/anthology covers from my Bibliography page as I thought it looked too cluttered. And don't you just heart the hearts? While fiddling with my blog page (trying to add themes, then removing themes as I love my green background), I managed to delete my entire 'Blogs I Stalk' list. I think I've remembered everyone, but if you notice you're missing, or if you just want to be added for the hell of it, then give me a nudge and I'll add you to the list. Apologies to anyone I've forgotten - I had snow brain.

If you have a few spare minutes, spend your procrastinating time wisely and head over to Fear and Trembling to read Facing Myself by Marshall Payne. It's an outstanding short sci-fi/horror story. I'd say more, but I don't want to give anything away.

I (heart) your blog, too. Simple backgrounds are the best, and the green is fantastic.

I was just about to leave a comment on your snow post about how pretty it looks, then I saw this one! How convenient! Yes, yes it is pretty. Green is the best color ever, man.

And wow, nice rec, that was a great story. Thanks, you just made me grin.

Clean and green...(ha, and I thought I couldn't do poetry!)

Very nice. I'll check out the stories later, I have to pretend I'm working now.

Green rules, and my green trounces all other greens. ;)

I (heart) that story. It kept me intriuged and left me with an ooh!

It looks great and I am glad the snow is gone. We will send you more later on. Maybe next year.

Jamie, if you could keep my garden covered in snow all year round, I'd be very grateful.

It's gorgeous, and I too think green is one of the best colours. I love the banner too.

Very pretty.

The story overall was very good, but my only issue was all the bookisms. Maybe it's just the slusher/editor/reviewer side of me that got in the way.

Gotta hate that...

I've always wanted to be green - not an alien but never realized before - green is one of my favorite colors. And the hearts for Feb. :)

Love what you've done with the place (though I do miss the old pikkie).

Poisoned apples and hearts. It doesn't get much better than that!

Don't panic if my blog temporarily turns red - it's blushing. ;)

When I came to your blog to catch up I thought I had the wrong blog..."The Poisoned Apple" with floating hearts? Have I been away that long! grin...

New blog looks great...I hope to keep up on things better...I'm mean garsh...the next time I miss a couple days, you might change the color to pink!! grin...

Cate Gardner said...

Never fear, 'The Poisoned Apple' will never turn pink.

Hey CG! I think I'm missing from the 'Blogs I Stalk' list. The only reason I know is because I updated it after like...2 weeks.

P.S. The blog looks awesome. I need to spruce mine up.

I don't know what you're talking about, TKT. See, you're right there.

Gulp. Apologies. :)
