Enter the Labryinth

Pay rate up to 20¢ a word.

Words guaranteed to catch the attention of a starving writer (even if it's only because she has banned chocolate from the house until the 24th December - like that's going to last).

Labyrinth's Door are looking for adventure/fantasy/science fiction stories for children aged between 8 and 14. Word count 3,500 - 5,000 words and you have to query before sending the story.

The perfect excuse not to work on the second draft of Theatre.

Holy Smokes Batman! 20 cents a word is the holy grail. Um...I can't have the children eaten by monsters?

Jamie - you can do it. :)

Natalie - But that's what I intend to do to mine.

Brenda - LOL :)

Aaron - note the up to 20 cents (probably 20 cents for JK Rowling if she sends something and 1 for the rest of us). :)

Kim - any time.

Like everyone else, I am wondering how to write for children. I mean, at my age almost everyone I write for is a child; but how to write for someone that young.

Can they even read yet? ;)
