Macabre November

Macabre Cadaver 4 YAY! The November issue of Macabre Cadaver is now available online. It features my story: In the Dumpster King's Zip Code; plus Jeremy Kelly's story The Crop Bearer ; and Mean Spirited by Joshua Scribner.

If you entered the Cafe Doom Annual Writing Competition, the stories are now up for you to read and vote. I printed them all out this morning. We have until November 11th to register our votes. Some intriguing titles.

And don’t forget 52 Stitches opens for flash fiction submissions today.

Time now to go back to writing my ‘Theatre of Curious Acts’ – 1339 words so far and a few more hours left in the day. I would like to get 3334 completed as I’ve got a family party and baptism to attend tomorrow.

I've got family stuff tomorrow as well. I doubt if I get that far today though. (Darn football games and housework, luckily I don't have a job and my kids are very forgiving.) ;) Good luck, we're all rooting for you.

Go you! I am in awe.

Wow, J.C. You are a machine. What did he do start at midnight and not stop?

Cate Gardner said...

I think he put the twins to work.

You write great creepy, Cate. I loved the Dumpster King! (Even if I will avoid looking out the bedroom window for weeks.) ;)

BTW, Thanks for taking the time to stop off at Now Playing in Seattle to offer congratulations on the EDF collection. Hearing from new people really makes this old lady's day!

Wonderful, creepy story! And I am insanely jealous of your first day's wordcount. I have written about 200 words today.

I don't think I'll be eating cherry tomatoes again either, come to think of it...

I'm thinking of submitting something to 52 Stitches, too. And I'm going to set aside some time to read your story tonight!

What does it say about me that I laughed out loud at the cherry tomatoes part? :)
