Corpulent Insanity Press have accepted my short story 'Dead Parachutes' for their Bloody October anthology.
I quote: "Undead Dolly Partons, psychotic gnomes, and cranky women in purple robes should be a part of every halloween anthology."
I agree - of course.
The anthology is edited by Christopher Allan Death and I can't wait to see who else is in the TOC. Oh, and it is to be published in October - but you probably already guessed that.
Woo-Hoo!

Well done that woman!
It looks fan that book and I'm sure that editor's name is familiar too - methinks he submitted to an anthology I was once involved with.
Congrats!
Cheers, Mark. :)
Congrats! Toldya!
Now...where's your brass band? I always did like a brass band!
It's playing at the moment but it's a wee bit out of tune...
Oh, congratulations!! I'm so glad the Dolly Parton story made it into a cool antho--I can't wait to read it!
Well done, Catherine.
Thanks for stoppin' by my blog - always good to have a fresh face.
:o)
Nice! The story I sent to Harvest Hill ALMOST went here instead. It was a tough choice but I'm hoping for the best...
and i agree about the brass band...
KC - Cheers.
Brian - thanks for returning the visit.
Barry - How weird! I actually started this story with the intention of sending it to Harvest Hill and then it seemed to go so off-the-wall I thought I'd try Bloody Oct. instead as I didn't think it suitable for H.H. Sometimes we make good decisions.
Congrats, Cate! :)
And I love the cover art, the contrast of colourful and creepy.
Cheers, Mary. Clowns are always guaranteed to be creepy.
Wonderful news. You'll have to share with me where you find all of your publications to submit to. I have Ralan's and Duotrope's but sometimes they seem a bit bare.
Again, congrats.
Hi Gabriel
I mainly use Ralan and Duotrope, though I also find info on other blogs and also on forums like Graveside Tales and Permuted Press.
