Eek!

I couldn't decide how to label this post. I figured either:

'Eek!' - as in 'OMG! I've just submitted my first piece to Shroud Publishing's Northern Chills anthology';

or...

'Phew!" - as in 'Thank God, I've finished my first attempt at getting into the Northern Chills anthology'.

Now of course I'm questioning - is this something someone would read around the campfire? And if so, you better have a loaded gun because I wouldn't trust the boy. The story is titled: The Dreadful Guise of Red Berries, is 695 words and I'm hoping they don't include the title in the word count as that would make it 701 words. Double-Eek!

I'm now off to compose something a little odd...

P.S. New England is beautiful.

I don't think titles typically get counted with text for wordcounts. Good luck on the sub!

Good luck with that and nice title!

(I don't count titles in word count for what it's worth)
