October at last - the month for all things ghoulish.
Over at the Verla Kay forum it's the beginning of SHOCKtober, where a bunch of writers log in with their word count each day as an incentive to fast draft. I don't quite qualify for fast drafting today (though I have done some work on The Poisoned Apple) as over at Writers' Dock a new Horror Forum was launched this morning, and I had to be in on the party. Wrote a wee flash story for the Forum, 'The Last Motel Room'.
